Midnight cards

I could not sleep last night. I decided to switch on my music and make some cards. I was thinking about my good friend - Tracy. I know her birthday is coming soon and I would love to make a card for her. I was thinking: She is beautiful. She is elegant. She is Tall. She is fashionable. She is lovable and kind. After 1 hour.. ( i know i am slow)... i came out with this card! Tracy, i hope you will like this card when you receive it at Malaysia. The material i used for this card: Paper: Lily Kate by Basic Grey; Card Stock: Chocolate Chip; Stamps: Upsy Daisy by Stampin' up; Ribbon: Chocolate chip grosgrain ribbon; Accessories: 2 brads by Making Memory and Heat tools and White embossing powder.

I was so excited after i manage to make this card. By using the same papers and technique, i made another 2 cards. They look slightly different only.

I suddenly recall my Chinese colleague is getting married this week. Arg... quickly make a card for him. For Chinese - RED means blessing. So.. i have to make this card in RED. Will give to him later.. after 2:30pm lunch :) Hope he will like it.

Busy Weekend

I thought i could have some rest last weekend, but i ended very busy with my staff and church works. On Saturday, I cooked lunch for my staff and after that they started to play with the stamps. Although it is tiring but i really enjoy spending time with them and build stronger relationship. They brought a new friend to join us too. Here are the outcomes. They are really really new in this but already get addicted.

I was so busy with company's annual report last week (and to be continue this week) and hope to get some time to make cards. However, i only manage to do a simple cards (duplicate to 10 pieces) for friend's birthday in October. I hope they won't see my blog - else they know that's not the one and only card i made :p I love this stamp set - Upsy Daisy - cause it is really HUGE and nice. Just a stamp could help me to complete a simple and nice card. I know this card is normal :p but... i like it too.
Thank you to Liza for sent me "Spring Solitude" stamps set as encouragement. She is always lovely and always encourage me to be a better card maker. I refered to the SS2008 idea book for the idea to make a card to my boss. I made another bookmark for him as well so that he could use it when he read this book. I wrap the present this way....

My First Paralympic - Wheelchair Basketball

I missed the chance to watch Olympic last month - so decided to go for Paralympic. I was so excited and I think it was a VERY good match between Australia and Brazil. Brazil was the winner at match 1, 2, 3 until the last 1 min of match 4. Australia won by 1 point at the last 10 seconds!!!! Wow! I always thought the "Win by 1 point" thinggy/scene only appear in movie and I didn't know it is REAL! :) 73 : 72, Australia you are the winner for this game : ) Share some photos with all of you.

A gift for a friend

I missed a good friend's birthday and decided to make a notebook to her. She carries her old old notebook (almost finished using) here and there everyday and she enjoyed writing. While waiting for my new "toys" (been more than 2 weeks), i used whatever i have to create this note book. I am quite happy that the embossing wordings turned nice in the end.

Thank you Alicia

Alicia sent me this stamp - Thanks a bunch - and i decided to use it and make a thank you card to her. Thanks for her kindness in sending me papers and stamps :) I can feel the LOVE! THANKS Alicia! I hope you will receive this SOON! :)

First Card making group - UPDATE

In order to start the group at 1030am (the location is not too near to my house), I left home at 9, carried 7kg or punches, ribbons, papers and stamps to this centre - CROSSPOINT, and prepared coffee and cokkies for them before they came.

However, I was quite sad because ... suppose 6 sign up in this group but due to heavy rain, only 1 came. However, it was so encouraging that .. AT LEAST ONE CAME! I will not cancel the "class" since there is one who is interested.

The only one who came is my friend, her name is Wing. She was my colleague before and she is a designer too. So, i am expecting a nice colour card from her. We had fun for almost 2 hours, making cards and Wow... it is just so relaxing.

The next group suppose to be 2 weeks from now, but whoever sign up last week came to me and asked if i could hold for another time this coming Saturday. They promised they will come no matter it is raining or sunny. I still think about it because i have quite tight schedule recently.

Oh ya... imagine this.. Wing and i finished the coffee! (suppose for 6ppl!)
