His Grace is Sufficient for me

Life is full of Ups and Downs =) I faced some difficulty recently and life is kind of stress =) However, God's greece is sufficient for me. Today, Yee Boon, who is good in creating mini clay toys, gave me a nice iPhone ear plug and at the same time, she passed me some supplements from an angel. She said: the angel preferred to be secretive. 

When i looked at the love gifts, suddenly it just feel like God talking to me: "Marlene, do no worry about tomorrow. I know your problems. I know your situations. I will take care of you. I will NOT ONLY provide you will sufficient food, i will provide you with Extra nutritions and dessert as well! Lean on ME. Leave it to ME."

This inspired me to create the below card to express my gratitude- Angels, thank you =)

Today is Boy Boy's graduation too! Made this for him!

This thank you card is for a youth, who asked for my help in making him a card - for him to express his gratitude for his parents on his birthday. I hope he likes it... and i feel so touched to know how God changed his life... I hope his parents can feel the love when they receive it.

Showing Gratitude

I have a friend. His nick name is "Danger". I love call him Danger because it sounds so special. His mom requested 2 cards for her daughter's dancing teacher (male). I believe, Man who loves to dance,... will accept/ like black colour :) Here comes the card :) I hope auntie Ng will love it :) Sorry for no recipe... I am too tired in writing cards these few days. Simple Cards

Made these last night and gonna send out today :) I know these look simple :) Patterned paper with ribbon, and embossed words with silver powder :)

I know it is kind of weird to have houses for baptism card for Jiaxen - but.... 2 families (my family and his family) shouting for him on his baptism day :p (this is the concept :p)

Gonna rush for something today. Busy and long day. May the joy fills my heart and your heart today :)

Cards with lace

Challenged by a friend - to make cards using burgundy/ red lace. I never play with lace in my cards 4 though. I started to sketch and I think burgundy lace looks good with Black chandelier but unfortunately i am lacking of chandelier stamp :( Gonna invest one before it goes outdated next season.

I stamped the damask pattern on card stocks and embossed with heating tools. is very simple but took me hours to complete this. I personally love the 1st card :)

Colour theme: Black and Burgundy + touch of gold perhaps.

A Special Note of thanks

I made these cards before the concert last thursday. I made them for my teacher, Lydia and few of my friends who sang in the concert. But i failed to give to them :( i will post to them, i think :) they did great job in singing.

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri + Thank you card

My brother asked for 2 Raya cards. Hari Raya Aidilfitri is the "New year" for Malay. Like chinese, the family members will gather together and celebrate the new year! I made these 2 raya cards using the remaining paper from My Little Shoesbox: Whoo Loves you?-You-Hoo and use the stamps i designed to make this card completes :) I stitched on the image this time! (than the edge of the cards)

And... i made this Thank you card to Sheerah :) Thanks for her lovely gift :) Hope she likes it though :)

I better complete my design. Else I can't go for movie tomorrow night :(

幸福的感觉...

上帝很奇妙.
在我很低落的时候，(因为要准备叔叔的葬礼)，而且很压力 (因为发现到ah yung 的video 还没有做好，而且有很多东西要忙), 上帝让可爱的凯顺在星期天借了我几本我最喜欢的magazine 之一，哥妹俩。这几本monthly magazine 真的给了不少的安慰，也让我暂时忘记了压力。感觉到他另类的关怀！谢谢你， 凯顺。

BBQ过了，也因为一个朋友，我周一很不开心。很不好意思那个不开心的脸让Boy Boy and Yung 看到了 :( 就在我知道我Lutong家进贼的时候，Boy Boy 打电话给我确认我还在公司。然后，Ah Yung就忽然来了，还送来一杯ice blended mocha. 这个少年真的很细心！师傅真的很感动！谢谢你Ah Yung! 对了！包装上有一个问题:"如果洗脸的是洗脸盆，那么洗手的呢？猜一成语!" 这么简单！当然是金盆啦！因为金盆洗手！但是金盆洗手是成语meh? hm... :p not sure

刚才，忽然又收到凯顺的惊喜！他送来了我最喜欢的starbucks! 爸爸妈妈还和我抢这杯咖啡。爸爸说："看你！aiyo.. 感动到这样！" 然后Ian 说：昨天ice blended, 今天starbucks! 那我的youth 呢？" Ian... I know you can't read chinese.... but the secret is - ALWAYS PRAY FOR THEM :p

Playing with Cuttlebug

Khai Soon got his driving license and i wanna make a card to congrats him :D At the same time, I thought of Augustine, who played piano @ The castle last Friday. I wanna say Thank you to him - cause he shared his music talent with us! I truly enjoy his music that day.

Quick cards + mini workshop

Michelle reminded me to update my blog :p Yap, been very busy lately + sick.....

I ter-cut my finger (left middle finger) last few days and it is still very painful today, plus rashes all over my body (increasing),..Arg..... i totally run out of mood in making cards or even going to work :) But i know i need some birthday cards and thank you cards these few days so i decided to make some quick cards and going to mail them these few days.

Augustine and gang came over the night before with JB. While we were discussing about our project, Augustine started play my lauzy digital piano! Wow, i think my piano found the real piano lover :) The music was so great but i failed to upload from my phone. I will post some short one over here but not the complete version. I enjoyed the night so much and the music is really lovely. It is my pleasure to have the chance to witness his play :) Thanks JB for bringing this "doctor" over my house :)

Augustine is only 17 and he plays so well. I am going to grab more people to go to his concert in the end of this year! Augustine, jia you. Proud of you!

Graduation 结业礼

I can't believe I am going to complete my "short term mission class" in a week time. Wow! Amazing :) Well, it is time to busy with the "graduation". Yap, there are 4 of us in this class and we have to prepare the graduation by ourselves.

I prepared 10 quick thank you cards for the pastors and speakers for our course. They will receive a custom made t-shirt as well :) Woohoo~ I will get the t-shirt tomorrow :) Hope it is nice :) I have to design the bulletin, the video (arg, Ian is not around, so i am going to do a non-pro video for this graduation) and more things to prepare! Arg!!!!!!

If you are a christian, please keep me in your prayer. I need wisdom and I need enough rest as well :) Of course, I need FUN and care too :) hee hee

我必须承认我这周哭太多了
导致我伤风了

这几天很忙。忙去银行关账户，忙去和不同的朋友会面，忙按摩。
昨天Barnabas 从马来西亚回来，我们两谈天谈到很夜
忽然一句；我真的会很舍不得你，我会很想你
我的眼泪就很不客气的涌流了。
而且 - 因为那时候要2点了，回到家又不可以继续睡觉，免得金鱼眼，所以今天真的病了。

今天kimmy给了我一份很棒的礼物。她请了一天的假，陪我这里去，那里去。她给了我她的时间。我很感动。我。。。 又哭了。

上帝，可以让我健康的回家吗？你可以医治这个哭包吗？
你还有几天的时间可以医治我。
