Movers & Shakers

I bought some new dies and stamps from PTI and can't wait to play with it. However, i am not sure on how to play with the Movers & Shakers - Poppers dies. Therefore, i visited Maile Belle's blog and found very useful information and here comes my card =) Hope you will like it =)

Birthday cards for March Babies

I have 24 friends in hands - whose birthday is in March (excluding FB friends :p) Made these cards for 4 friends in Australia, Beijing, KL and Miri. Hope they will receive on time! Gonna check the recipe ya... Aha! The Kiwi Kiss Cards inspired by this. I love the simplicity in this card.

These are simple but took me ages to complete these cards. The balancing is quite off :p

Today is Boy Boy's graduation too! Made this for him!

This thank you card is for a youth, who asked for my help in making him a card - for him to express his gratitude for his parents on his birthday. I hope he likes it... and i feel so touched to know how God changed his life... I hope his parents can feel the love when they receive it.

Simple Cards

Made these last night and gonna send out today :) I know these look simple :) Patterned paper with ribbon, and embossed words with silver powder :)

I know it is kind of weird to have houses for baptism card for Jiaxen - but.... 2 families (my family and his family) shouting for him on his baptism day :p (this is the concept :p)

Gonna rush for something today. Busy and long day. May the joy fills my heart and your heart today :)

Just papers

I was looking at my "sheets bin" and i found many papers that are as small as 3cm x 14cm in this bin. Decided to make cards using all these papers from today onwards (till end of november). So, you might see some "repeat papers" used :)

however, i will try to come out with interesting cards. Hope i can spend at least 15 mins a day to make a card - before i sleep :)

Cupcakes

Since Dr Chua's birthday, i think i am in love with "creative cupcakes". Feel like going for some bakery class to learn some basic baking :) I know i know... cakes are fattening but.. who cares :p hee hee.

Ha! I am in love in Pink [joking] :) Here comes my cupcake cards in PINK and BROWN, and BLUE and BROWN. To be honest, I love these 2 colours combination :) Brown - beautiful colour, right? :)

Oh ya! I bought the 3D cupcakes from POPULAR BOOKSTORE. it is made in Korea and it is NICE and SWEET :) [ of course i didn't taste the sticker lah~]

Birthday cards for October Babies

My drum class will start at 9pm. I have 5 mins to blog before i attend my class :)

Here comes the cards for October babies. One is for Daisy :)

I took out my loose sheets and punched them with 1 3/4" square punch, and sew them together - to create patchworks effect. My 1st trial on this :) I believe there is lots of space for improvement :)

Pink, Purple and Brown

I just completed my card though. Very inefficient night :( Spent at least 3 hours in a card. The outcome still not what i imagine. Ha!

JB challenged me with a Pink + Purple + Brown card for his birthday tomorrow. Well, I hardly put these 3 colours together and after mix and match, here comes the card. Sorry to say that, this card is too girly = (geli also in malay) so... I don't think I am going to give this card to him. Ha :) But.. this is a nice card for my good friend, Tracy :)

Inspired!

I made these cards last night before zzzzzz. I was inspired by a friend's photo though :) Pastel pink/blue with grey. Well i know Pink is not my colour but i love the outcome of these cards :) I will give the blue card to the friend who inspired me :) Oh ya! This is my 1st time coloured the cards using blender pen given by Michelle! Woohoo! Syiok!

When Marlene Met Sheerah

Finally, we met up and made some cards :) Sheerah's first try on cuttle bug and big shot!! She was crazy when she played with them! She made a wedding card for her friend!

We gather to prepare for tomorrow's workshop @ Curtin university. I prepared 2 designs for this workshop. Hope they like it though :) Everyone will have chance to play with heating tool, stamping, cuttlebug and punches! Woohoo~

I love My Cards!

I love my cards! Let me say this again... I LOVE MY CARDS! :p

I made this card to a very good looking young guy (He is a kid 4me actually) whose birthday is today! He loves reading... that's why i added a bookmark for him (actually is not my idea though) Hm... i personally like this card oh! 有点舍不得送出去 :p

Actually before the above card, my challenge of the night is Black and White + Stripe ribbon (in Black and White too) I made 3 cards based on this challenge :) I like the ribbon though :)

OK. Christmas card again :) i accidentally saw a card by Lisa T though Splitcoaststanpers.com and i am in love with the christmas card in lilac! This is just so beautiful! I "imitate" the idea (colours mix and match) and came out with my cards! I added stitches and.. well... using my own designed stamp :)

Oh No! It is 2:30am! Time to go to bed! I just couldn't stop making cards just now :D I was so inspired and so motivated! Woohoo~ Sweet dream, Marlene. Ops,. Sweet dream, everyone :)

After 8 hours sitting in front of computer, designing church's missionary seminar booklet, finally decided to MAKE CARDS (around 11pm already)

I took out Earth Love papers by Cosmo Cricket - elements, repeat and borders and challenge myself to make cards using these + kraft paper. Well, i can use any stamps lah :p

I know today is Monday :) I was supposed to work at this time but i choose to take some rest and make some cards for September babies.

I always like the cards from Pinkerton Design. I hardly log in their website cause i lost the url. I accidentally found it today! Yippee! However, i was impressed by the 1st group of cards showing at the main page. I like the simplicity of these cards! And, this inspired me to make SIMPLE cards today! I like the giraffe card though :)

My challenge of the day is using Chocolate Chip as background and stamp set from Hero Arts. I took out a piece of paper, and challenge myself to make cards using JUST this piece of patterned paper - Whoo Loves You?- You-Hoo by My Little Shoebox.
