Based on the mood board proposed, I prepared 2 invitation cards design for my client :)

Close Size: 14 x 16cm

With ivory envelope.

Design 2:

Size: 14cm x 17cm

10th Anniversary Card

David C requested for a simple card for his friend's 10th anniversary of running a facial centre. The interior is mainly dark red colour therefore I selected Purely Pomegranate as main colour for this card. I hope he likes it though :) I completed this card in 15 mins when and was very inspired this afternoon.

Hip-Hop cards :P

Spent sometime reading a book just now and suddenly realised... I have to return the stamps to Sheerah tomorrow! Her Unity Stamps - Distressed Dots and Stripes & Dots are with me since last friday! Arg! I better use these stamps to make some cards before return to her. So i put down my book and went back to my craft table!

I run out of idea, that's why... came out with these super simple design and layout :( My challenge is to use 2 pieces of patterned papers and Red card stocks.

When Marlene Met Sheerah

Finally, we met up and made some cards :) Sheerah's first try on cuttle bug and big shot!! She was crazy when she played with them! She made a wedding card for her friend!

We gather to prepare for tomorrow's workshop @ Curtin university. I prepared 2 designs for this workshop. Hope they like it though :) Everyone will have chance to play with heating tool, stamping, cuttlebug and punches! Woohoo~

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri + Thank you card

My brother asked for 2 Raya cards. Hari Raya Aidilfitri is the "New year" for Malay. Like chinese, the family members will gather together and celebrate the new year! I made these 2 raya cards using the remaining paper from My Little Shoesbox: Whoo Loves you?-You-Hoo and use the stamps i designed to make this card completes :) I stitched on the image this time! (than the edge of the cards)

And... i made this Thank you card to Sheerah :) Thanks for her lovely gift :) Hope she likes it though :)

I better complete my design. Else I can't go for movie tomorrow night :(

So Inspired!

After 8 hours sitting in front of computer, designing church's missionary seminar booklet, finally decided to MAKE CARDS (around 11pm already)

I took out Earth Love papers by Cosmo Cricket - elements, repeat and borders and challenge myself to make cards using these + kraft paper. Well, i can use any stamps lah :p

Card Without Sharp Corner

Today is not the right day to make card.... although it is a holiday

I spent hours and created some not-too-nice cards

which I am not going to post them in my blog :p

However, an hour after

I started to make another card for a special friend in church.

I told myself - I am going to make a non-standard card for him

- Card for a man but with touch of pink, No square, No corner, No limit

- and this card is going to match my present (packaging) in the end.

I quite like the outcome though

and I hope he will like it too :)

For a close friend 给一位好朋友

昨晚，一位好朋友说想约我去喝咖啡。感觉到这位好朋友似乎心情很沉重。去见他以前，不单单为我们的"Coffee fellowship"祷告，也有感动要做一张卡给他。所以就事不宜迟，开工啦！我不单作了一张卡片给他，我把剩下的纸作了书签给他 :)

回到家本来想写blog, 但是忘记带laptop的charger。我真的很享受我们的Coffee Fellowship. 有很深的分享：重担，心情，生活，还有一些很好笑的“过去” :D [wa! 原来你知道我很多的过去呢！而且有一些没有人知道的呢！] 在这个朋友面前，我可以把内心的痛，或者心事都说出来，而且我发现到他的观察力很强哦 :P

虽然我们认识了10多年，但是感谢上帝让我们10多年以后，尽然比以前更Kawan :)

喜欢用祷告结束这个fellowship :)

以后的fellowship, 一定要pray 更多！

Card for Yunka and Cake from Yunka

I know it is 8pm ... and I supposed to go fellowship but due to some works, I can't go. However, I just completed my works and now I am preparing myself to join the 2nd part of the fellowship and follow by CAKE DAY!

Yunka will make a cake for us tonight and we will definitely enjoy ourselves later. I made him a very simple thank you card this afternoon. Hope he will like it though :)

Ok. Almost time to sleep ... and I just wanna update about my "cake day" :) I thank God for putting good friends surround me - that cheer me and care for me and love me when i am weak or even when i am strong. Ops... long story... better intro the cake :)

I knew he made this cake with love and care. He knew i love coffee and Ferrero Rocher, and he combined everything into the cake. Layer by layer. Look at this!

Thank you Yunka. Next time will be me - who serve you with my limited skill in cooking :p

A farewell gift for Ah Yung

I met Ah Yung through JB's blog. He is a youth who is very caring and well... recently he is addicted in FACEBOOK! We spent time making cards together, sharing about life experiences and he is a youth who listened when i talk.

Ah Yung is not a christian but he went to church with JB since few months ago. He is leaving us to Kuala Lumpur for his further studies this friday and tonight we will have a farewell party for him.

I bought him a bible but I want this bible to be a very special bible. Therefore, i made a simple cover for him. I used the left over cloth to make a card and decorated the paper bag. He shall get this tonight :)

Besides the gift, we spent 3 days gathered Yung's friends and teachers to say few words for him. I recorded them and will published in 3 different categories below :) Teachers, Friends and NG part :) Hope you enjoy the video but all in mandarin language.

2 Special Cards for Special Friends :)

Saw a post @ Stampinkub's blog and i decided to take out my Upsy Daisy again and make a card for a young adult. I truly enjoy making Black and White cards :D

I designed this stamp based on Philippians 4:13. I need a stamp that contains bible verse to give encouragement to people surrounding me. I was so excited when i realised the small shop in my hometown could produce clear stamp for me and i could use it like normal stamps with my acrylic. However, the outcome is not that perfect but i will try to make it looks better :)

Sheerah is far away from Miri and his dad needs 2 urgent cards for our church's opening on coming sunday (kuching church). So i quickly made these cards. The title is all about God's blessing :) Hope he will like it.

The words are "pasted" using photoshop. I will print them out and insert into the cards tomorrow :)
