A Sympathy Card for Our Church Pastor

I used to write dairy (summary lah) before i sleep every night. I will write down the "main point" only and one of today's main point is about a funeral.

I attended a funeral this afternoon before i send my godfather off back to Holland. Pastor Yue Li lost her daddy last friday and today is the father's funeral. I realized i should make a card to her therefore i came out with this card - with my new arrival stamp from Inkadinkado. I know this stamp is old design but i just love the fall feel of this stamp.

May God comforts Pastor Yue Li and her family.
Will keep your family in my prayer.

With Deepest Sympathy

Joshua, (the young adult who helped me in making the video for "Count His blessings Book Exhibition") lost his father few days ago due to heart attack :( I just feel like making him a simple card. May God comforts him by Himself and I believe Joshua's father is with God now. Joshua, JIA YOU.

Recipe for these cards.
Stamps: SU: Upsy Daisy, Close as a Memory
Card stocks: SU: Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, More than Mustard, Recycled paper (handmade by me and Sheerah)
Others: White ribbon, buttons, sewing machine.

Another Brown Collections

It was quite late when i made this card. I found this "straw weave" paper that i bought from Shanghai during my business trip from my paper box and decided to explore the way of making card using this. I did some research on how people use these simple stamps from SU. So, i stamped with choco chip colour, cut and paste and Taadaah!

I receveid a suggestion about edging my card with my ink pad! I will try that tonight :)

I am Sorry

You won't believe this.
I made this card the night before Tuesday and i received a news that my friend's sister-in-law pass away the day itself. God just prepared me a card to write some words to my friend.

This is the card. The stamps are from stampin-up.
