Playing with Cuttlebug

Khai Soon got his driving license and i wanna make a card to congrats him :D At the same time, I thought of Augustine, who played piano @ The castle last Friday. I wanna say Thank you to him - cause he shared his music talent with us! I truly enjoy his music that day.

Making cards to encourage people, especially youth - become my hobby now. I am addicted to this :) Woohoo~

Card stock: SU: Tangerine Tango, Going Grey, Whisper White, Ivory.
Ink Pad: SU:Going Grey.
Stamp: SU: Cheep talk.
Others: Cuttlebug: Swiss dots, music, Die-cut Thanks,, Die-cut Congrats, white brads, SU: Scallop punch, , Round punch, sewing machine.

I received another gift and card from Michelle Teo. Michelle ah Michelle, you have been too nice to me :'( Thank you!!!!!!

According to Michelle, this is the latest Hillsong album which released last week! Faith + Hope + Love! Woohoo! I think i might be the 1st person in Miri who has this album :) Michelle and siblings involved in the recording as well :D Check on this post by Michelle :)

Btw, your card is really really really nice loh :) I love it :) It is in my "safety box" and will display on wall when i have my own "gallery" :)

Yippee for Khai Soon

Khai Soon got his driving license! Yippee!!!!!! And he said I will be the 1st person he "car" :) (meaning fetch) And we actually celebrated "in advance" the day he sit for driving test :D

Dinner @ Zaika

It was a great dinner. Meeting up with td, td2 and met 2 new friends - Catherine and Matthew. Zakka is a nice Indian food place in Miri. Woohoo,... now i know another nice place for food at night @ Miri WITH TEH TARIK!

After the dinner we went to "Ice House" with KIDS. Aha... forgot to take photos :p I truly enjoy the night :)

My pastor needs some birthday cards and I took out papers from Fancy Pants Designs and made these 4 cards. Very simple cards.

During the workshop @ Ian's place, i managed to make another card using the same material and stamps. Here comes the recipe

Stamps: SU: Always, Fifth Avenue Floral, Great Friend.

Card stocks: SU: Kiwi Kiss, Baja Blue, Whisper White

Ink: SU: Sahara Sand, Going Grey, Kiwi Kiss, Blue Bayou.

Others: Eyelet punch, Going Grey grosgrain ribbon, Brads. White embossing powder and heating tools.

Ian invited me to teach the young adults to make a card for their parents on KEC's parents day. Everyone is so focusing in card making...

Surprisingly Man did a better job in this :p

My Kuching Trip

是的！我去古晋是因为工作！
但是hor..... 工作不忘娱乐而已嘛！

July 2-4, JB 和我去古晋bid 一个project. 我们连夜赶工，带着过渡信心和超级美丽的powerpoint, 就坐malaysia airline MH2803 从美里飞往古晋去了。可怜的JB, 前一天没有睡好....

时间过的真快！下午的时候，我们就已经是2个free 人了。所以我们就走走kuching 的老巴刹。Adui... 天气很热，虽然在下雨。傍晚的时候，我们就和我的一般好朋友，Sim Nee, Greg 和小叮当去"Car park"吃晚饭！

Due to allergy, Doctor's advice is 不要吃Seafood. NO SEAFOOD. But hor... 我没有吃Seafood. 我吃see food. Whatever food i see, i eat :) 这杯柠檬甘蔗真的很 yummy

Panggang Sting ray... 但是好像不是很受欢迎。

竹ham! 我很喜欢！很新鲜！

古晋O-ah-jian :) 很脆哦！

当天的Satay 真的超级好吃。特别是牛肉的。

这个是satay王子 － Matthew. 他从Australia 来的。没有隔离，就和我们吃饭！我们也是很有信心的一群人 :) 他吃的satay 数目很惊人！

回到家的时候，Sim nee 就开始作蛋糕。已经闻名她蛋糕的手艺几年了，今天终于有机会try.

JB，你是没有看过人做蛋糕。。。 还是超级饿，想偷吃？

Sim Nee 一忙起来，没有时间听电话的。

Wow... 快做好了。在冰箱隔夜就ok 了

Jb 吃了又吃，吃了又吃....

第二天早上。。。 这个窗是在我睡的房间拍的。感觉上这个阳光很美。我也相信，这个会是美丽的一天。

果然！
我们用超级yummy 的laksa 开始了我们的今天。Wow... 太yummy 了！

吃饱以后....当然就是咖啡的时间！我们在the spring 的咖啡厅喝咖啡，谈小孩，写信。这个JB hor, 虽然他这2天不用花时间在那些小孩上，但是他的心真的都在他们身上。看！他每时每刻都在msn 他们！真棒！

喝完咖啡....当然是午饭时间啦！小叮当带我们去吃古晋最好吃的叉烧，排骨喝烧肉。Sorry ah.. 不halal 的。

Oh My God.. 我仅然真的去看Transformers : Revenge of the fallen. 看完以后的感触就是: Wa.. 他们从头忙到尾。很没有思考空间的电影。仿佛不用带我的头脑去看会比较好 :) 或者说，带着童心? :p oh.. 然后是时候回家了。回家的路上不忘记可爱的Everise, 所以就拍了这个photo :D

Sim Nee 有caregroup, 所以prepared 了食物给他们。我们就curi makan ;p



晚上就喝SCB 的人一起去吃晚饭。去到一家吃。nice enviroment.

第3天，我们多数的时间在家休息。傍晚就离开古晋。Sim nee 还做了蛋糕给我们吃。
我们hardly control 这个诱惑，就在飞机上吃了一些。



看我们1st class 的优待。自己的电视，自己的cake, 但是MAS 的orange juice 啦

有一点舍不得那种轻松的环境。 Miri, 我回来了。


让我来简单的总结我们的trip. 这个trip 真的很“让” “慢”。
“让” 因为和朋友一起住，一起这里去， 那里去，所以多数的时候，要有礼让的精神。要听话，要让步。谁先冲凉啦，谁睡在哪一个房间啦，都要礼让 :)
“慢” 因为我们都一致告诉自己,Oi, we are on holiday。所以，走路也比人慢，吃饭也比较慢，连睡醒的时间和动作都特别慢！JB 是一个证据 :p

上帝，谢谢你让我有休息的机会。
谢谢你让我很enjoy 这个trip。
谢谢你不但让我被inspired, 也让我们成为了他人的激励和鼓励。
谢谢你虽然很少收到小孩的sms, 但是我知道他们有想念我。 :p
谢谢你让我有很多很supportive 的朋友 :)

虽然我们没有bid 到那个project, 至少，我们吃够了，住够了，玩够了。
而且休息够了。

谢谢你天父。

但是天父，我的烦恼来了。。。。
因为这个kuching trip, 我饿脸圆了很多,... 怎么办？

A quick card for tomorrow's workshop. I was invited by my business partner, Ian, to have a mini workshop @ his care group tomorrow. Well, This is going to be a very basic class for them - to make a card for their parents.
