CNY card Workshop with Tom (11 Feb 2010)

Tom - is creative and has his own idea in card making.

With a little tips and directions given, he created cards with different layout. Good job Tom :)

借口有时候很美丽 (part 2)

今天其实很累

但是无聊的我，拿起了去年的日记

看看去年的今天(15 Feb)我到底作了什么

发现到，去年的今天

我和一班朋友一起去海边

而且也发现到1年后的今天

我的生活和这一班人很难“脱离关系"

也很常花时间和他们一起

今天，他们都被我邀请来我家拜年

这个“借口"，是很美丽吧！

i love this card

Made this CNY card for friend (with good taste). Surprisingly the outcome is quite nice and now i declare this is my CNY favourite card of the year :) I like the idea on how i link the HOPE (front) and the FAITH (inside). When we hope, we put our faith @ Him :)

Made these CNY cards for my close friends (and little brother) in Miri and 2 of them comes with some homemade cookies :) Hope they will like it though... Yea.. i made the packaging - and it matches my cards :) And yes,.. it is in PINK :D

Everyone is busy with Chinese New Year. I am gonna make some red packet tonight :) Woohoooo

Addicted to cupcakes

之前，“谣言”说我的cupcake 是偶像派 (也不是谣言啦，是事实)

但是今天证明了我们作的cupcake－有外在美，也有内涵喔！

果然是偶像实力派 :D

Everise 想做cupcake 给他的特殊朋友

本来不是很认同中学生paktho的我，确成为帮凶 :p

我告诉everise: 你这回拜错师傅了,..我的cupcake 经验是1次而已！

他还问我: 师傅，你做的cupcake真的有那么差吗？照片看起来很美。

我说：是啊！所以才叫偶像派！你没有听说.. 味道不是很好了吗? :p

我们坚持祷告了才开工 :) 求上帝让我们成功！

这次偷懒 － 买了mix好的powder（比较省钱）, 加上eggs, milk, vegetable oil 和chocolate chip （自己改recipe）效果还不错喔！看到Everise 不但真心，还用心，说真的，很感动... 一下下....

但是Jason却说这个cupcake很有castle的主题和味道。

Castle老板可以考虑一下喔～

Chinese New Year + Valentine's Day card

When talked about Chinese New Year + Valentine's day card, my brother said: put 2 hearts beside "招财进宝" loh~ so funny lah...

A friend wanna make CNY cards these days... so i designed these for him. Simple and very RED huH~

Using the same Red card stocks, i designed 2 Valentine's day cards as well (for another workshop though.... )

I quite like the outcome ... lah :)

Our God is a lovely God

Some of my friends knew what happened to me yesterday. I felt threatened by someone. I was in fear but angry at the same time. Thank God for sent me friends that advised me and a great business partner who helped me to have further discussion with that supplier. I prayed,... and the supplier apologized. However, the story is not "finish" yet. More things to settle...

However, I still feel very unhappy and decided to work OT till quite late. I didn't even switch on my mobile (since it was low battery) and just feel like spending time reading and make cards. Thank God for a call at midnight - informed me about a surprise present for me @ my house flower pot. Thank you Mr. Postman for the surprise and thanks Jill for the gift - all the way from Dubai. Blue and Brown - my favourite colours combination.

When i opened the gift - a voice came in me: "in His time,... in His time,... He makes all things beautiful in His time..." I have to say Thank You to my God for always prepare surprise for me when i am down and He just has His way and His time to do all these for me.

He cares for me.

How to tie a bow

i always curious on how Dawn McVey tie her beautiful bow on her cards. I found this in youtube and i really wanna share with you, card makers, who visit my blog :) Enjoy!
I will try to make some cards using this way of bow tying these few days - when i have extra time.

Today is Boy Boy's graduation too! Made this for him!

This thank you card is for a youth, who asked for my help in making him a card - for him to express his gratitude for his parents on his birthday. I hope he likes it... and i feel so touched to know how God changed his life... I hope his parents can feel the love when they receive it.

Prayer Journal for Shu Shu

Beside bought her a book on her birthday, i handmade this prayer journal for her. I think it is good habit to write down our prayers and see how, when and how God answered the prayer.

This prayer book is casual in design, and the dividers were printed with bible verses and embossed with white embossing powder and heat tool.

Hope she likes it :)

Happy Birthday, Sharon

It is Sharon's birthday! She is one of my best-est friends :) Having her as soulmate in life is definitely a blessing to me :) the OMG celebrated her birthday @ Our Daily Bread yesterday and we wewre happy to see her super happy face :) The theme for this birthday is: Polka Dots + Ladybird (or lady bug) = 小鸟伊人的女人 :p

Yes! My 1st CUPCAKES! Made these with Huijin :) Recipe and design are from a book by Martha Stewart. The outcome... not bad huh~ :p

Oh Happy Day!

Well, actually i was quite angry today...

Client insisted something i dislike - and i have to help - with unwilling heart but I told myself - treat them as a friend - do as it do it for God.

Suddenly (Boooonnnnngggggg).. my admin came in with a huge parcel from Bibiana. She sent me the crafty goodies that she brought back from USA. They are my new toys! And thanks KH for the amazon coupon :) I love the book that i selected :)
