我为什么会回来Miri, 到底发生什么事?

还有30分钟就2011年了

我记得我说在2010过去以前必须分享为什么我会回来Miri 的见证以及我怎样经历上帝。

所以，今晚再不写，就明年才写的了 :)

再写以前，必须数算上帝今年给我的恩典 :)

1. 保守我和家人有平安，而且又多了一位健康的Ethan :)

2. 位我赐下许多同辈的好朋友： 抱抱，Tracy, 巴拿巴, 老人团，Jason :)

4. 为我预备很棒的教会和牧者 －特别事蒋牧师和师母

5. 为我预备关心我的保罗－雅金传道

6. 为我预备一班cute到不能顶的青少年人 :) 你们知道你们是谁

7. 为我预备很棒的爱心小站伙伴 - Michelle & Sheerah

8. 给我机会成为主日学老师

OK. 让我来说，为什么我会回来Miri

我想我曾经分享过

我离职3次了

但是第3次才成功离开

第一次

当地的国际教会邀请我成为全时间同工

wa, 年假24天，薪水不错

和我当时的工作比起来差不多一样

所以－决定离开

但是没有想到，上帝用这个机会

为我教会，透过我的老板

为教会预备了聚会地点

老板挽留，用1.8 millian USD 买了公司隔壁的单位

送给教会

第二次

因为家人的压力

决定回来

但是老板说：给我6个月work from home

只要online 就可以

一样的工资

但是我内疚

所以决定2个月就够

但是回来的时候

很闷

没有人找我事奉

我告诉上帝：如果没有人找我事奉

我看我不必回来啦

在最后1分钟

一位弟兄邀请我一同帮助一班的少年人

这班少年人让我想起了

和P仔一起服侍的街童

对他们－有感觉了

很舍不得的离开了Miri

回到北京的时候

没有想要离开的意思

但是，上帝的声音开始在我内心动工

“marlene, 回去Miri"

记得当天在上海

在忙棉被的捐款事件

款项不足

差3万5千

我祷告说：上帝，如果你要我回去，就明天位我预备那3万5千

次日，银行有4万...

和老板说我要离开(第3次）

内心想－反正老板会挽留

没有想到老板说

“你和我是上帝的仆人，你要离开了， 我知道，但是我的责任是要送你安全回Miri."

当天晚上灵修上帝再次肯定告诉我，他比与我同在 ：）

搬东西回去，需要RM9000

但是上帝预备, 只需要RM380

飞机票需要RM1800

但是上帝预备， 只需要RM500

银行没有钱 向上帝要2万

但是上帝让公司作了一件小错误

每月少给我RM1800 的工资

所以一次过给回我RM20000

虽然如今的我很”穷“

但是，所得到的

是有钱也买不到的

上帝，谢谢 :)

上帝，新的一年，我要以感恩的心对待

期待更多的神迹

上帝，新年快乐

你一定会更忙

但是上帝，谢谢你把我带回来

Decided to spend sometime "record down" what happened this year. I scare I will forget when i turn old-er :)

Yea, on Monday 1 Nov, The Body Combat team celebrated my birthday! Ah... i really feel so shy when they surprised me with a tiramisu cake. Well, is not about the cake but is about the friendship, the love. ARG!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU

I truly enjoy the body combat class :) We have GREAT SHIFU!

on 4 Nov, my high school friends invited me to Siamese Secret. Yea, with Ah Wui around, the table will definitely full of "jokes". Yea.. i call it jokes :)

on 5 Nov, my beloved brother, Marcus, "car" me to KB for sushi :D Ha! Yea,.. i am not a sushi fans but my lecturer Sie Ai loves it :D But i enjoy the time spent together with Marcus, Danger and Sie Ai :) Aren't they cute?

I don't really take sushi though.. but i love the freshness of the food

at night!!!! ARGGGGG I had the privilege to drive Mini Cooper! Thanks John Lau for allowed me to drive his car and thank to Tiger who planned and putting effort in asking permission from him! Argggg sad sad sad... the car is not mine after an hour :(

We went to Kent's garden to celebrate birthday! Yea.. is really a HAPPY one

Sharon baked 2 cakes for me. Arg.. Xiao Zhong and Xiao Bai were crazy when they saw the cakes! And Kah Khing and William (with part of contributions from Eugene LCS) made the Tiramisu cake for me. To be honest, my heart melt when i saw all these. I feel so loved and so blessed to have this group of people around me :'(

And before Marina bay, sie ai and i went for Roti and Ipoh Town kopi! I LOVE IT!

and meeting up parents for dinner. Adui.. KUAT SEDAP

From what i received, i made a conclusion :D

I can drink coffee (starbucks thumbler), eat junk food (from OMG) EVERYDAY (calendar). I don;t have to worry about my look after this (photo frame) because no matter how, God answer prayers (family photo). I can continue love Lee Hom (DVD), make cards (Stamps) and I will be well protected by God (winter jacket for my camera). However, make sure i always organize myself and remember everyone in this post in my life book :)

Does this make sense? Argggg i must be too sleepy :(

yea,.. it is weird that i give my teddy bear and my camera a name :) Well, i think they both deserved a name - cause they are really special in my life :)

My teddy bear - Xiao Zhong - aged 4, born in China :)
My Lumix - Xiao Lu - aged 3 months, born in Japan :)

There are some stories why i love Xiao Zhong and Xiao Lu :)
will share with you when i am ready :) I guaranteed - they are beautiful, touching and cute stories :)

Body Combat Class

I think I started to join this class in .... late June? Hm... Not too sure :p I was quite disappointed for the 1st week (because we were BC-ing with video, which i think we can do it anyplace, anytime) but i told myself: Well, perhaps i should give myself 3 chances...IF SOMEONE WILLING TO GO WITH ME.

So, i "accidentally" mentioned this to few of the young adults. They seems quite interested. Alah, i don't care - and i decided to "myvi" all of them to this class and i am happy to know they are in love with Body Combat and brought MORE and MORE friends too! Woohoooooo

I think it is important to stay healthy - although i "snake" sometime huh~ :p

Thanks to our BC shifu - for putting effort and time in BC-ing with us :)

I should be very tired after today's BC, but I am not sure why i can't sleep...

Hm... may be i should just force myself to the bed now :)

Thank God for a fruitful Monday - though quite "blue" but full of grace :)

oh ya, Happy Birthday, Huijin the Dr. Chua :)

I truly enjoyed the fellowship just now :)

培训 Discipleship

今晚很有感触...

当我决定放下手上的工作的时候

我拿起了桌上的ODB

打开10月1日，写着: Discipleship...

在欣赏耶稣怎么栽培门徒的时候

忽然哥林多前书3：6就涌进我的脑海...

"我栽种了，亚波罗浇灌了。惟有神叫他生长。"

但是... 问题来了....

“罗玛玲，你有栽种吗？"

"罗玛玲，你有浇灌吗？"

"罗玛玲，你看.. 耶稣和他的门徒在一起的时候，耶稣教导他们天国的福音。他们在耶稣的指导下做事，学习祂的话、了解圣经的真意，并观察祂的效法耶稣的行为。在这之后，耶稣把任务交给他们，然后差遣他们去传道。罗玛玲，你有耶稣的榜样吗？你有教导你所谓的 “徒弟仔们” 上帝的话语吗？你身旁的人有因为你更效法耶稣吗？当你和他们在一起的时候，你都说什么的呢？都作什么的呢？你在乎他们家人的救恩吗？你有教导他们如何和家人传福音吗？没有！都没有！"

忽然觉悟

其实上帝已经把一群青少年人放在我的身旁

而我却忽略了他们

我有机会教导他们圣经

我有机会陪伴他们

但是我却没有这么作

我惭愧

我后悔

我答应上帝

从今天起，我会好好的栽种和浇灌

求上帝帮助我，让我看见神如何让他们增长 :)

上帝，麻烦你了...

以前的我不容易相信别人

可能因为自己是很有居心的人

所以也带这样的眼光去看别人

在吉隆坡读书的时候

认识一般很单纯的朋友

发现到他们很容易相信我所说的

也容易接纳别人

也常给别人机会

更发现到这样的他们很多好朋友

就决定学习像他们－容易相信别人

把这个有居心的面具脱下来以后

真的很用心去对待身旁的人

不论在什么事情上

如果吃亏都无所谓

反正相信上帝在掌控

迟早会有神迹

但是我发现到

我真的太容易付出了

而且我真的用心对待身旁的每一个人

但是我却受伤了

而且不是轻伤

我开始问我自己

我应该继续这样下去

还是结束这样单纯的相信呢

我可以怎么做呢？

Happening + Happy day :)

I am not really a workaholic but to be honest, I easily forget about my lunch when I am busy.

I realised God is really cute :)

He knows I am busy but He arranged creative ways to remind me of my lunch, for my fun and even to cheer me up :) - Just like today :)

WKK invited me to go lunch with Raymond and friends - to celebrate Ray's birthday. I felt reluctant to go because most of their friends are strangers to me + they are all 18-19 years old :p However, WKK insists of going so I went :) It was quite fun actually and met some new people :D But to be honest, I WAS SO SHY!!!!!!!!!

Raymond is so blessed cause WKK bought him lunch :D and Boy Boy bought him movie (dipaksa oleh shifu :p)

After the LONG LONG LUNCH at 230-430pm, we went to Bintang to buy advance movie ticket and yes, we watched SALT at night :D It was a nice movie but.. Adui.... suddenly habis liao :| Alamak.... And the movie seems quite short leh... how come... hm....

AND THE MOST HAPPY THING IS... 10+10+10+10!!! (= Teng Teng Teng Teng... )

Kuo Sing and Hui Jin gave me a souviner from Taiwan. WOW, RUBBER STAMPS!!!! I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY LOVE IT! and I was so excited and really want to play with this! Thank you kawan for the present! I feel so happy and all the stress GONE in few seconds :D I love the FISH design the most! Woohooooo :D

Wa... i think tomorrow i will be VERY UMPH to work :) God's grace is sufficient for me :)

Japanese Doll

i was browsing my Japan photos yesterday and suddenly soooooo inspired to make Japanese Doll bookmarks :) I spent 2 hours made these 6 cards. Ha.. going to give to some young adult who i really care :) Hope they will like it and will read more bible :)

Tiring day. Spent hours sleeping this afternoon. Tonight.. will rest earlier too! Tomorrow gonna to be a pack day but God's grace is sufficient for me.

1st traffic summon in my life 人生的第一个交通罚单

I have to say I am a very careful person in whatever I am doing.

I try not to make mistake and try not to give others chances to find my mistake as well.

Everytime when parents answering call while driving

I will show them black face

and keep saying: "Don't answer call when you drive!"

but

on 6 July

I made the mistake by myself

and I got a summon from the police.

I wasn't that happy about this and I tried very best to argue

The police said I didn't use hands free

but i said I didn't hold the phone with a "free-hand"

I did hold the phone but I was holding steering with my both hands at the same time

while answer the call using loud speaker

I was even angry when friends told me that I have to pay RM300 for this summon

and why not just gave him kopi-o? SORRY LA brother, I cannot support rahsua!

I was angry and sad at the same time and I complaint to God during my quiet time.

"God, why this thing happen to me?

Ya, I admit that I did make a mistake by answering call

but I didn't hold it using one hand!"

When i quiet down

I can feel the answer

God seems spoke to me:

"Marlene, that's the rules.

When I said No Lie, meaning No Lie.

Even if you did lie with good heart

but it is still sin for me.

I will give you punishment (summons)

but my grace is sufficient for you."

"OK God, can I have some discount please?

I know i am wrong and I repent."

After Tatau mission trip,

a police man called me regarding my appeal.

and he said

"We decided to cancel your summon.

You don't have to pay a single cent.

Please come and collect your receipt."
isn't it a miracle?

Yes, His grace is sufficient for me :)

Motivation Talk at Tatau

I was asked to prepare a motivation talk for 60 UPSR students in Tatau last friday... in Malay language :| Alamak...

While preparing for the talk

I asked God for inspiration and He reminded me 2 video clips from Charge-Up.

I used this video clip as the introduction and I have to say, this video truly inspire me as it linked me to the bible verse 2 Timothy 4:12 - "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."

Although i am not "that young" anymore but this video clip is indeed an encouragement for me.

Before I end my talk, I used this - Matt Dancing as the closing. I told the kids, Do not look down at a small action or a little dream in their heart. They won't know it might impact the world one day.

The one i show is truly a complete video clip - 7 mins but i can only find this in youtube :)

Tatau Mission Trip

I didn't take much photos during this mission trip

as i was sick for the 1st day

and we have so many professional photographers :)

其实最感动的是

看到team member互相照顾

互相体谅

看到同学们的认真学习

看到KK和Sheerah勇敢用Malay传三福和带领bible study

忽然觉得真的很enjoy这样的mission trip :)

很开心认识新朋友：惠莲, Shierly, Esther, Hannah, Lee San, Jmee, Linda, Yee Boon( 这2位没有那么新) 期待以后可以一起再去mission trip :)

Movie - Hachiko

I watched 3 movies this week.

2 on wednesday at cinema

and one with daddy yesterday at home.

Karate Kid 3 - I LOVE IT :)

It reminds me of Beijing

Life in Beijing, friends in Beijing...

and reminds me of the right attitude towards things that i do.

2hour 15min shows, i truly enjoy :)

The main actor - Jaden Smith, son of Will Smith

is really done a good job in this movie :)

He acted in one of the other movie i watched before

which is really good as well named The Pursuit of Happyness (ya, not Happiness)

meaningful movie... must watch :) Will Smith and his son in a movie based on real story :)

Toys Story 3 - I LIKE IT!

Ah... if not because of bad sound system

i would say i love it :)

Hachiko - I SUPER LOVE IT!

I cried when i watch this movie.

The strong relationship between the owner and the dog makes me cry

The faithfulness of the dog towards his owner makes me cry

The story (is true story) makes me cry

I want a dog like this though...

Ah... i truly love this movie...

However, gonna sleep soon... will share more tomorrow after church :)

I am not sure what to buy for Michelle - she has everything :)

I saw this letter embossing machine in cute and different fonts and i decided to buy for her as present. I challenge myself to use the 4 colours from this machine to make a card for her and will attach with the present :)

The card turns out very kiddish :p Ops but i hope she will like it :)

I used tracing paper to wrap the present. I stitched 2 pieces together and added ribbon :)

Hope she did enjoy herself today :)

记得上次签唱会是和素素一起去

当时候22岁吧

王力宏的签唱会

在sunway pyramid

排了很多小时的队....

10年后没有想到自己还会去签唱会

但是这次是因为林义忠牧师的邀请

加上Jason的鼓励(他的kaki梦想成真嘛)

所以就带boy boy 和jia yang 一起去

没有后悔 :)

但是远远就被雪芳老师看到我

好paisay :p

加油例外人, be 例外的team

很多team只impact world

但是你们要成为a team that impact life and impact world :)
