Just came back from airport. Sent Ah Yung off. He is flying to Kuala Lumpur today for his further studies. I saw some students "escape" from class (perhaps with Teacher's permission) to send him off. Wow,.. it was a touching "farewell".

Happy Birthday again, Amy :)

As my earlier post mentioned, today is Amy's birthday :)

Ksoon came to my office to spend sometime @ my place and he took my iPhone and decided to play a birthday song using one of the softwares - Ocarina. He spent about 10 minutes to master this song and recorded down to give as a gift to his friend, Amy :D

Ah Yung's Handmade Cards

Yung is leaving us to Kuala Lumpur for further studies tomorrow morning. Few weeks ago, he came to me to ask for my help in making cards for him - so that he could write some words to his best-est friends (top 50!!!!) I designed 2 simple cards for him and it took us 4 hours to complete all 53 cards! He is going to deliver all cards to his friends this morning, so i could post about this now :)

Today is Amy's birthday. Amy? Hm... she is a friend of Khai Soon :) I met her last week during the video recording for Yung's farewell :) Happy birthday, Amy :)

Khai Soon called around 6pm yesterday to ask for help - he wanna make a card for Amy and he mentioned that she loves stars - oh and so do i :D

I sketched a card with stars and prepared the material for Khai Soon and we met at the youth center to complete the card :) The outcome is quite nice, Khai Soon! Good Job!

幸福的感觉...

上帝很奇妙.
在我很低落的时候，(因为要准备叔叔的葬礼)，而且很压力 (因为发现到ah yung 的video 还没有做好，而且有很多东西要忙), 上帝让可爱的凯顺在星期天借了我几本我最喜欢的magazine 之一，哥妹俩。这几本monthly magazine 真的给了不少的安慰，也让我暂时忘记了压力。感觉到他另类的关怀！谢谢你， 凯顺。

BBQ过了，也因为一个朋友，我周一很不开心。很不好意思那个不开心的脸让Boy Boy and Yung 看到了 :( 就在我知道我Lutong家进贼的时候，Boy Boy 打电话给我确认我还在公司。然后，Ah Yung就忽然来了，还送来一杯ice blended mocha. 这个少年真的很细心！师傅真的很感动！谢谢你Ah Yung! 对了！包装上有一个问题:"如果洗脸的是洗脸盆，那么洗手的呢？猜一成语!" 这么简单！当然是金盆啦！因为金盆洗手！但是金盆洗手是成语meh? hm... :p not sure

刚才，忽然又收到凯顺的惊喜！他送来了我最喜欢的starbucks! 爸爸妈妈还和我抢这杯咖啡。爸爸说："看你！aiyo.. 感动到这样！" 然后Ian 说：昨天ice blended, 今天starbucks! 那我的youth 呢？" Ian... I know you can't read chinese.... but the secret is - ALWAYS PRAY FOR THEM :p

今天真的很感动！谢谢上帝！谢谢凯顺！谢谢Ah Yung! 谢谢Boy Boy :)

A farewell gift for Ah Yung

I met Ah Yung through JB's blog. He is a youth who is very caring and well... recently he is addicted in FACEBOOK! We spent time making cards together, sharing about life experiences and he is a youth who listened when i talk.

Ah Yung is not a christian but he went to church with JB since few months ago. He is leaving us to Kuala Lumpur for his further studies this friday and tonight we will have a farewell party for him.

I bought him a bible but I want this bible to be a very special bible. Therefore, i made a simple cover for him. I used the left over cloth to make a card and decorated the paper bag. He shall get this tonight :)

Besides the gift, we spent 3 days gathered Yung's friends and teachers to say few words for him. I recorded them and will published in 3 different categories below :) Teachers, Friends and NG part :) Hope you enjoy the video but all in mandarin language.

Praying for you and for my family as well

Everyone was busy preparing the funeral 2 days ago and after i completed my part (to contact church, contact pastor, arrange for transport etc), so I decided to make some cards for my relatives and a friend who called to share about his stress and burden and i would like to let him knows: I am praying for him. Due to the "mood" in me, i realised all my cards turned out to be so "sad" feelings :(

雪筠老师，生日快乐。

昨天家轩问我：“师傅，你知道明天是雪筠老师的生日吗？”
Wow, 忽然间我有一丝丝的感动。这个小孩既然知道今天是雪筠老师的生日。可见的，雪筠老师的魅力是无法挡的哦！

这一丝丝的感动，也感动了我，想作一张卡给雪筠老师。想告诉她，很多时候她。。。。哎呀！要说的会写在卡片里。

因为想作卡片的时候已经是凌晨1点半了，所以就决定作比较简单的卡片。不然爸爸又以为我梦游起来作卡片。是的。。。我又失眠了 :)

2 Special Cards for Special Friends :)

Saw a post @ Stampinkub's blog and i decided to take out my Upsy Daisy again and make a card for a young adult. I truly enjoy making Black and White cards :D

Stamps: SU: Upsy Daisy, Great Friend.

Ink: SU: Versa Mark, Going Grey
Others: Scallop edge punch, Going Grey grosgrain ribbon, Brads, White embossing powder and heating tools.

I designed this stamp based on Philippians 4:13. I need a stamp that contains bible verse to give encouragement to people surrounding me. I was so excited when i realised the small shop in my hometown could produce clear stamp for me and i could use it like normal stamps with my acrylic. However, the outcome is not that perfect but i will try to make it looks better :)

Another sleepless night

It was yesterday, 11pm, when i started make my 1st card. I guided Tomaytoe to make 2 cards. one birthday card for her "colleague" (of her part time job) and one is for her boy friend who is going to sit for exam this Thursday. This is really another one-to-one workshop :)

However, due to time consuming (it was around 11pm), I guided her to make some simple cards - which i done before. Just let her experiencing cuttlebug and hot stamping :)

Happy Birthday, Uncle Teo

Met Uncle Teo few days ago :) He is the father of JB, Michelle and Xiao Hui. Today is his birthday. So,....Happy birthday Uncle Teo :) [I don't think he will see this blog though :p]

Xiao Hui came to my house just to spend time make a card for her daddy. I guided her in the process of card making. The night is great. Td, Xiao Hui and I were "popet-popet" while making card :P
